An Our Lady's Grammar School pupil has taken to the streets to help raise funds for a local man with terminal cancer to help him travel to America to visit his brother and friends.
Year 8 pupil Naomi Gribben from Mayobridge has been busking in Belfast this week and this Sunday she will be performing in the Buttercrane Centre from 1 to 2pm so if you are about please drop by and support this caring girl with a big heart.
The 11 year old is no stranger to singing and performances having most recently taken the lead role of Charlie Bucket in Our Lady's incredible production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in November.
Naomi has also performed in Seussical the Musical with Bosco Drama Group and in Matilda with JSI Academy. She has also recently gained Distinctions in her Grade 3 Musical Theatre and Classical singing exams and is currently preparing for her Grade 4. Just last year she recorded an incredible version of O Holy Night for The Ivory Sessions.
The former pupil of St Patrick's Primary and Nursery School in Mayobridge is also no stranger to fundraising having helped raise thousands in many local campaigns. Her latest fundraiser is to help the local man visit his brother and childhood friends in San Francisco.
