Gaeilge go Gasta -dóibh siúd a bhfuil líofacht réasúnta bainte amach acu cheana
The teaching programme at Newry’s Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail, Sráid an tSéipéil, will expand next week on Tuesday 26th February when a new class to accelerate learning of Irish will be introduced. The BARR FEABHAIS pilot programme is pitched at those who already have a good level of comprehension of aural and written Irish but who require additional practice in Irish in its spoken mode. The class would suit, for example, those who are studying Irish at AS/A2 level, or who studied Irish to A Level in the past, those who are taking the Diploma in Irish at SRC, those whose Irish is rusty and just requires refreshment, and Bunscoil past pupils who are now in secondary education.
Beidh na ceachtanna topaic-bhunaithe agus beidh éagsúlacht ann ó sheachtain go seachtain. Teaching and learning strategies will involve pair-work, group-work and interaction with two Gaelic League teachers. Short stimulus texts and recordings will be used to trigger the conversation.
Cuirfear le cumas labhartha na ndaltaí gan dabht in atmaisféar atá dúshlánach agus tacúil. Reachtálfar na ranganna nua i nGaeláras Mhic Ardghail – ionad úr na nGael atá suite ag ‘Cnocán Phádraig Naofa’, Sráid an TSéipeil.
Tagann An Ciorcal Léitheoireachta le chéile fosta oíche Mháirt ar a 7.00pm i leabharlann an Ghaelárais.
Fáilte roimh léitheoirí díograiseacha nua. Bainigí triail as!
