Many visitors from Newry visited the 22nd Holiday World Show held at the King’s Hall Pavilions last week.
The Show chalked up its highest attendance in over a decade, reaffirming its unrivalled reputation as Northern Ireland’s favourite celebration of all things travel-related.
David Emanuel, Royal designer and runner up on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of Here’ joined globe-trotting bargain hunters and local exhibitors to open the annual holiday extravaganza.
As Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of travel and tourism, the show is an escapists’ dream, showcasing breaks and vacations at home and abroad and hosting the Province’s biggest Caravan and Motorhome Show.
This year savvy travellers discovered a distinct focus on keen prices and added value, together with insider advice on a myriad of options. Meanwhile the show’s Cruise Pavilion, and Honeymoon & Wedding Destinations Pavilion provided dedicated zones for those specialist areas of the travel sector.
