The event was open to businesses at all stages, from new ventures to well-established operations, with those attending given the opportunity to take part in an Innovate Tourism 2026 Insight to Impact workshop. Led by Jacqueline McCann, Founder of Roll Innovation, the workshop focused on building visitor value, helping businesses create more from the visitors they already have and supporting stronger long-term sustainability. Attendees explored how their experience, pricing, operations and delivery model could be strengthened to improve performance and resilience, and were also encouraged to draw on the recently launched Ireland's Hidden Heartlands brand as a tool for future planning.

Alongside the workshop, a Business Clinic gave attendees the chance to book one-to-one appointments with Tourism NI teams covering marketing, experience development, regions, accommodation quality and standards, and events. Businesses also had the opportunity to learn about listing on DiscoverNorthernIreland.com and setting up a MyTourismNI e-learning account.

Carolyn Boyd, Industry Development Manager at Tourism NI, said the level of engagement had been encouraging. "Our industry is continually proving to be the most creative and inspirational sector. The high level of engagement at our clinic gave Tourism NI the opportunity to meet with industry at the very start of 2026 and help them seize all the opportunities open to them."

One further regional roadshow will take place at the Ebrington Hotel in Derry on 19 March. Further information is available at the Innovate Tourism Roadshows page on the Tourism NI website.
