The new Public Realm Scheme which led to a complete revamp of Hill Street and Monaghan Street resulting in a great open Public Space at Marcus Square.
It came to us courtesy of Newry and Mourne District Council and the Department for Social Development.
The Pride in Newry Festival was the first to utilise the space to it's full potential with street performers and craft stalls.
Jedward made an appearance at the Newry City Tenth Anniversary Concert. as well.
