Newry and Mourne Policing and Community Safety Partnership are supporting the Salvation Army to deliver the Newry Knights project and are currently recruiting volunteers.
The Newry Knights will provide a safe place and support for vulnerable people in need of assistance, initially on Saturday nights in the city centre
An information session is being held on Monday 22 September from 7-9pm in Sean Hollywood Arts Centre to find out more.
Full training will be provided for volunteers
