Once formal feedback has been collated it is envisaged that this service will be further rolled out to male patients.”

Amanda Yeomans, Regional Manager for Look Good Feel Better Charity, said: “We are excited to be extending the reach of our services within this area of Northern Ireland, following the successful launch at Oxford Island in November 2018.  We are delighted to be working alongside the team at Craigavon and in partnership with the Newry Leisure Centre.  Our group sessions are valuable for women and men to help restore self-confidence and a sense of normality, during an extremely difficult time in their lives.  I am sure the programme will be wonderfully received, and an ongoing success.”

One of the ladies who attended the workshop said: “Fantastic session-really good to boost self-confidence. Brilliant atmosphere, relaxing. I was never confident with make-up now looking forward to trying this at home. Thank you so much, felt really special today.”
