The Quays and Buttercrane shopping centres will host a series of events in February and April celebrating the cultural diversity of our communities.
The events are organised by the PSNI and the PEACE III Challenge of Change project and are part-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund through the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
The first event will showcase Chinese culture and traditions and will take place on Saturday 2 February in the Quays. It will be followed by the promotion of Central and Eastern European cultures on 16 February. Buttercrane’s events will kick off with a showcase of Indian culture on Saturday 2 March and will be followed by a showcase of Traveller culture on 13 April.
The events will run from 12-4pm and include music, dance and workshops and promise to be informative and fun.
