Newry Soroptimist's elect Shirley as President

Shirley Keenan is the new President of Soroptimist International Newry and Mourne.

The group celebrate their 60th Anniversary this year and already Shirley has in place a very exciting programme.

Following a very successful fundraising year club member Hilary Halliday accepted a cheque for £1,500 on behalf of the Club’s chosen charity Friends of the Cancer Centre Belfast in memory of her daughter Anthea who passed away last August and who had received such care from the Friends of the Cancer Centre.

The Club welcome new members.
