NIFRS is recruiting On-Call Firefighters across 26 Fire Stations including Crossmaglen, Newtownhamilton, Keady and Warrenpoint.
As part of NIFRS’ commitment to recruiting the best possible candidates they are hosting information evenings in every recruiting station throughout the duration of the 3-week recruitment campaign.
Female information session
The emergency service is also holding a female information session at Newry Fire Station this Saturday 21 Feb from 12-2pm so anyone interesting in joining who live or work 5 minutes from their local recruiting station should attend.
Those attending the upcoming information evenings will have the opportunity to: Learn more about the role of On-Call Firefighters and the commitment involved; Speak directly to the crew at the Fire Station and ask questions about the role; Find out more about the physical aspects of the job and the training provided and Understand the application process and find out if they are eligible to apply.
