Apologies for our lack of updates on Newry.ie when we were swanning around Canada this past few weeks taking in all the beautiful country had to offer and a wee family wedding as well.
Normal service has been resumed and our break has given us plenty of new ideas and a chance to plan new ventures.
One thing we did notice was an interesting drawbridge over a river in a town called Port Stanley in Ontario.
Two minutes and the boat was through and traffic resumed - Sure normal traffic lights keep you waiting nearly as long!
Making a few enquiries about purchasing 4 of them for Newry Canal!!!
