JLS and Friends will play in Pairc Esler on Thursday the First of August but their concert that was due to be held at Belfast’s Titanic Slipway on the Second of August has been cancelled!
Both concerts were to be in aid of Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children (NICFC) but now only the Newry one will go ahead.
The charity was informed by the concert organisers today that the Belfast concert will not now go ahead.
NICFC CEO, Gillian Creevy said: “We are very disappointed this (Belfast) concert has been cancelled. We know everyone has been working very hard to support the work of Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children and I understand this decision was taken with extreme reluctance. I would like to thank each and every person who bought a ticket. We would also like to thank everyone who was working behind the scenes to help make this event happen and all media outlets – newspapers, television, radio, online – which helped us promote it.”
