The site at Leitrim Road is for up to 6 glamping pods, new access pathways, ancillary structures and landscape planting.
The six pods will have a Kitchenette, living/ sleeping area, shower and toilet and kids sleeping area.
The site will also include a Boots/ Bicycle station, cycle stands and a hand sanitisation point.
The area, around Leitrim Lodge is a popular area for visitors to the Mourne Mountains.
