Write a commentFollowing damage to a number of cars in The Beeches, Temple Hill Road, Police in Newry have arrested two males. The PSNI had received a report of a male attempting to gain entry to a vehicle and attended the area.
Two males, aged 18 and 19 years old, were arrested.
Three vehicles were damaged. The males were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police in Newry also arrested a 52 year old man on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possession of Class B drugs.
On the 21st of December Officers were on patrol in the Maginnis Street area when they observed a male acting suspiciously. The male was searched and police recovered a bank card in another individual's name and a quantity of suspected cannabis resin.
The man was arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
