Register for Gaeláras Irish Classes

Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail in Newry isn't even open a year and already the Gaelic League have seven weekly Irish Classes on offer from complete beginners to advanced.

As well as classes at Gaeláras, this year will see four classes held at U3A at Abbey Buildings.

Registration for the classes takes place at Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail, Chapel Street on Saturday the 21st of September from 1pm to 3pm.

The Classes will commence on 23rd September and the first term will run for 10 weeks - with a break around Halloween. A donation of £30 for the term will help us defray heating oil/electricity costs..  

Those who did not study Irish at school are especially welcome to the Absolute Beginners' Class.

Also Séamus Ó Mocháin will take a new Beginners' Class on Wednesdays in the U3A Centre, Abbey Buildings, from 10.00am to 11.00am. Guíonn muid gach rath ar Shéamus.

U3A classes will begin on Monday 9th September, apart from Meánrang 2 which will start on Monday 16th September.
