A Newry family have raised a wonderful £10,443 for charity in memory of their Super Hero son/ grandson/ nephew Connall Magee who died in June 2021.
Christopher Magee along with his brother Barry and sister Laura completed a skydive on 9th July to raise money in memory of their son and nephew Connall for NI charity Angel Wishes. Angel Wishes reached out to Christopher and his wife Jenna when their son Connall (aged 4) was diagnosed with a rare Children's cancer back in November 2020. These three took themselves right out of their comfort zones and jumped out of an aeroplane at 15,000 feet, free falling at a jaw dropping 120mph. The highest skydive in Ireland!

Christopher Magee said "We would like to thank every one for their very kind donations towards our fundraising event. We are totally overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and absolutely delighted to annouce that we have raised a grand total of £10,443.00"He added "A special Thank you to our Mum & Dad, Kieron & Delia Magee owners of Magees On The Quay for sponsoring the skydive, enabling us to donate the full amount raised directly to the charity. Magees Bar also held a very successful family fun day donating all money collected throughout the day to the skydive, for this we thank you."As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation."
