Write a commentAn annual ecumenical remembrance service for those that have been affected by farming accidents, will be held this Sunday 24th June at 2pm in the church of the Most Holy Rosary in Abbeyleix, County Laois.
The event held by Embrace Farm, Ireland’s dedicated Farm Accident Support Network is always well supported by the wider Agri-community and visitors attending include UFU President Ivor Ferguson and YFCU President James Speers and many Agri business representatives from the Dept of Agriculture, FBD, FRS Networks, HSENI & HSA and Teagasc.
Embrace Farm will be represented by co-founders Brian & Norma Rohan, and the voluntary board of directors who give their time freely for the development of the organisation.
With over 130 families contacting the organisation annually, as a fully registered charity, Embrace Farm hosts many support events for those who have lost a loved one in a farming accident or have suffered serious injury as a result throughout the year.
