Santa is arriving at Buttercrane Centre next Thursday 28 November and his Ice Palace will open for bookings the following day Friday 29 November.
On Thursday night the centre will have mall entertainment from 6-8.30pm with lots of free treats for children as well as the chance to meet Santa.
Students from the Bosco Youth Theatre will be joining them to perform a special melody of Frozen songs from their recent sold out Town Hall Show. You can meet Anna, Elsa and Olaf and their friends and they'll also have Candy Plum and Giggles - the mischievous elves who will entertain you with their juggling and unicycling and stilt walking.
Face painters will also be there beside the Help Desk, creating all your favourite Christmas and frozen themed designs.
Finally, it would not feel like Christmas celebrations in Buttercrane without the support of the amazing Abbey Grammar School Jazz Band who will visit the centre from 6.30pm to herald Santa's Arrival.
Santa's Grotto will open for visits on Friday 29 November; it will not open on the Arrival Night. Santa will stay on mall on that evening and meet any children in attendance with no charge. If you'd like to experience a full Santa visit, please book via the link below.
For the 8th year running the centre will continue to provide Silent Santa visits, the details for which are on the booking page.
The Grotto is open Wednesday – to Sunday until Christmas Eve, with the exception of Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December, when they have extended Grotto hours.
The cost of a visit to the Ice Palace is £5 per child and each family will receive:
6x4 photo
a chocolate lolly for each child
a balloon
a voucher for a half price Subway Cookie
a voucher for a free scoop of ice cream/frozen yogurt from Spoon Street.
