Shamrock Youth Club have made a donation of £200 to local charity The Road Ahead Support Group.
The Road Ahead Support Group project provides support to vulnerable people and families across Newry, Mourne and Down affected by road traffic collisions. In particular, the Road Ahead Support Group aims to address grief and loss, mental health, isolation, and loneliness which may have resulted from trauma or bereavement due to traffic accidents on our roads.
Shamrock Youth Club provides a club and community to help children escape the pressures of everyday. Based in the Newry Methodist church hall the club has had a diverse membership with children from Poland ,El Salvador from both catholic and protestant communities. Attenders have various nightly activities such as arts &crafts, drama, music &dance, indoor games, football, volleyball etc.
