Write a commentA great family day out was had by all who went along to the Patricia Graham ‘Shining Light’ Community Volunteers Fayre 2019 at Ballybot House in Newry.
The Patricia Graham ‘Shining Light’ Community Celebration is organised each year by the Confederation of Community Groups to remember Patricia Graham, a dedicated member of our staff team and to recognise the tremendous contribution made by the many community volunteers to life in this area.
This year’s event, the ‘Celebrating Volunteers Fayre’, took place recently at Ballybot House, Newry providing a day of fun and entertainment for local volunteers and their families.
Speaking at the event Council Chairperson Charlie Casey said; “The Council are proud to be associated with and to sponsor this tremendous event. I would like to acknowledge the contribution made by all volunteers to the quality of life for all in this area. As Council Chairperson I wish to congratulate the Confederation of Community groups for undertaking this initiative, which is genuinely inclusive and reflective of all that is good about Newry and its surrounding area.”
