Write a commentNewry Film Club is taking submissions from local Young Film Makers for its 2015 short film competition. Entries need to be submitted by Friday 30th October.
Shorts which fulfil the criteria below, will be eligible for the Short Film Awards. The awards are: Best Film, Best Director and Audience award. The winners and short-listed entries will receive a Newry Film Club plaque and a season ticket to the NFC 2015/16 season.
They are also inviting applications from GCSE and GCE A level students whose films were entered for the 2015 examinations.
Short film entries must be less than 10 minutes long, made within the last year (since May 2014) and they should be submitted on DVD (suitable for viewing on a DVD player) clearly labelled with a completed application form.

Rules
If submitting more than one film please complete a separate entry form for each film.
DVD’s submitted cannot be returned.
You should have copyright clearance for all materials within the film otherwise it cannot be shown.
Short-listed applicants will be notified by 13th of November and will be requested to submit a high definition mastercopy for final screening.
Short-listed applications grant Newry Film Club the use of images and sound for promotional purposes.
