An all action event for all from toddler to retiree the Spring Fair once again features multiple kids’ activities, including the famous bouncy castle. Plus a Kiwi Sausage Sizzle as The Ballance House is home to the Ulster New Zealand Centre.
The bustling craft fair with a colourful array of fair priced home grown plants is another must for many as is the hi tech exhibition linking our province with the far off Pacific nation of NZ. After all The Ballance House was the home farm of Kiwi PM John Ballance. Famed for his fairness to folk of all creeds, colours and genders. Thus ensuring NZ ladies were the first females in the world to vote at national elections.
Outside the afternoon features quality music from both Vocal Chords and the Lisburn based Harmony Too Choir. A treat for all ears and ages.
Ideal when enjoying coffee or tea and an array of fabulous food served in the historic tea barn. Perhaps as others enjoy the adjacent outdoor display of Victorian and Edwardian rural equipment or enter the high skill welly wanging competition!
