Evora Hospice brought together team members from across its services to celebrate their dedication and achievements at the annual Staff Recognition Event at the Canal Court Hotel in Newry in November.
The event, sponsored by Newry-based electrical and mechanical installation company CCL Services, recognised exceptional teamwork, innovation and long-standing service, with several staff members receiving awards for over 20 years of commitment to the hospice.
Staff from care services, corporate services and income generation were all acknowledged for their vital contributions to supporting patients and families across the community. The programme included a welcome from hospice leadership, a Q&A session with the Senior Leadership Team and an awards presentation led by the Director of Corporate Services, with particular emphasis placed on collaborative working, creative problem-solving and sustained commitment.
"The purpose of this event was to celebrate our incredible staff, their teamwork, and the milestones we have all achieved together," said CEO Liz Cuddy. "From care services to corporate teams and income generation, every individual plays a vital role in supporting our patients and their families. The event allowed us to acknowledge their dedication and the difference they make across our community."
