Style at The Quays

This weekend the Quays Shopping Centre is gearing up for one of the most exciting weekend’s in the fashion calendar with Newry Style City 2013 in full flow..

The Quays is one of the main sponsors of the event and will be celebrating the weekend in style on Saturday 20th April with a ‘Style in the City’ fashion show. Professional models from Style Academy will take to the catwalk along with the faces of Newry Style City local ladies Laura McGrath and Hannah Kearney to showcase the very latest spring/summer looks from the centre.

On the day Peter Mark will be styling the models hair while Sabino hairdressers will be doing up style demonstrations on the mall throughout the day.

There will be music from Sound Function DJ’s from 12 noon - 4pm and the shows will run from 1pm until 4pm at intervals throughout the day.

With monochrome, bright pastels and bold patterns hot on the high street it promises to be a colour popping, fun fashion event which is completely free for shoppers.

There are events to suit everyone with many fringe events happening in venues and retail outlets across Newry. Sometimes when you go into a shop it is hard to picture what something will look like on or how you can accessorize it. This type of show is perfect to give you a preview of what and how you should be wearing the latest trends and the wardrobe staples.
