The Dolmen Centre in Omeath is hosting several events for young people in over the summer.
First off is a Creative Drama Workshop for 8-15 year olds. Running from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 July from 9.30am-2.30pm the workshop will use the mediums of drama, song writing, music and creative art to develop physical and emotional wellbeing. Cost is €20 per person/ €30 per family. This project is funded by Louth Local Development.
The Centre is also holding a Summer Camp Boxing Fitness Tournament for 10-13 year olds and 14-18 year olds. The camp will take place from 17th-21st July from 11-1 for 10-13 yr old and 2-4pm for 14-18 yr old each day. It will include exercising/ self defence, grafitti art and will finish with an exhibition fight. Parents/guardians will be welcome on the last day. €40 per person with a reduction for additional siblings.
