Ten beauty businesses operating in Newry have been listed as finalists for the 2024 NI Beauty Excellence Awards, taking place in the Crowne Plaza in Belfast on Saturday, 15 June.
Recognising and celebrating the success and achievements of the aesthetics, beauty and hair industries across Northern Ireland, the awards had had over 250 businesses enter this year.

A judging panel of industry experts will be tasked with narrowing down the entrants. One of the new judges for the 2024 Awards, Yolanda Cooper commented: “It is a testament to the beauty industry in Northern Ireland just how difficult it was to whittle down the entries to finalists and crown our winners. Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and thank you to every single person and company who entered the awards.”
Sarah Weir, Director at Weir Events which created the Awards added: “We are excited to return once again with what will be the fourth year of the Awards. It is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the talent and expertise across the beauty industry in Northern Ireland and how much it is continuing to develop and grow. We introduced four new categories this year due to the increasing demand and changes within the industry and it is great to see so many entries for each one of these.”
