Following a recruitment trip to Mumbai last September the Southern Trust have seen 56 new doctors arrive to work in Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area hospitals.
Their new recruits have been completing corporate familiarisation and training with their specialty areas over the past number of months and getting acquainted with their new community.
Retired Trust Consultant and Clinical Director, Dr Charles O’Brien took a group of them on a hike up the Mourne Mountains to explore the beautiful scenery.
The Trust will welcome more new international colleagues in the coming weeks.
