Unite raise funds for Stroke After Care Unit

Unite were out and about Newry yesterday to raise money for chest, heart and stroke services.  All proceeds will go to the stroke survivor’s aftercare unit in Bessbrook.

Speaking on the issue Unite spokesperson Kevin McAteer said “It is important that we raise money for such an important issue. Chest, heart and stroke relies on their charity donations from the public to function and it is important that we show them as much support as we can and it is vitally important that we protect these services.”
