Works will get underway next Monday 2 September at Newry Buscentre. This is part of a safety upgrade programme at more than 20 Translink bus stations which will take place over the next 2-3 years.

The works, which will improve safety for passengers and staff, include improved lighting, safety signage and installation of barriers and protective bollards.
A spokesperson for Translink added "There will also be some associated works to bus departure areas, including bus stands, however, we will do our best to minimise disruption to passengers "
The works are expected to last up to 12 weeks.
Staff will be on hand to inform passengers of any changes to bus departure stands.
