Check out our video of this weeks fantastic flotilla up Newry Ship Canal. The Albert Basin in Newry was a flurry of activity on Tuesday 1 August. It was the largest number of boats at one event on Newry Ship Canal in many years. Around 25 boats made the trip up the iconic canal as part of the first Carlingford Cruise Week. Visitors to Victoria Lock saw the lock gates open and close three times in the space of a couple of hours allowing the boats in from the Newry River and Carlingford Lough.
Participants enjoyed a day and night in Newry before leaving around 11am on Wednesday.
