Two local women are organising a Charity Golf Classic in Warrenpoint in April to raise funds for the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin in June.
Michelle Meehan and Sonya Ferris are holding the event on Friday 28 April at Warrenpoint Golf Club. At present they have am and pm slots available for any keen golfers to enter a team or if you would like to sponsor a hole please get in touch with them.
You can book by emailing michellemeeko@hotmail.com or soniaferrishkf@gmail.com A Team of 4 is £200 for any combination and includes a goody bag, meal and refreshments. You can sponsor a hole/ tee for £100.
Prizes galore for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams, Longest drive on Hole 4 and Closest to the Pin on Hole 14.
The event is sponsored by Fiveways and Diamonds Restaurant Warrenpoint. All proceeds go to Special Olympics Ireland.
