Traffic lights that sat uncompleted for nearly four months on a busy thoroughfare in Newry are now back in operation.

The lights at William Street were back fully operational yesterday. The Department for Infrastructure had said that the delay was caused by damage to an underground duct and that they would be completed "as soon as resources are available".

It appears now that with children back to school over the next few days that finally the resources have been found.
