Write a commentAn awareness event were recently held at Daisy Hill Hospital to mark World Prematurity Day 2016.
The event was supported by Tinylife - Northern Ireland's premature and vulnerable baby charity which is dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies born here.
Staff from the Special Care Baby Unit in Daisy Hill Hospital raised £326.66 through a cake and bun sale and a £440.80 donation was also made by the Crilly family to the Neonatal Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital to help raise awareness.
