The next series of Mastermind will be filmed in Belfast and the series organisers are currently scouring for local contenders so if you have the proverbial 'brains to burn' you should drop them an email for an application form.
The popular BBC2 quiz show presented by John Humphrys would be the perfect chance to test your specialist subject and general knowledge in the iconic black leather chair. You could even find yourself hearing the imortal words "I've started so I'll finish" as the clock ticks down.
Of course your chosen subject will be difficult to decide so here are a few suggestions: The waterways of Newry, Pavements dug up in Newry from 2015 to 2020, The history of Newry Whiskey or even The U2 gig in Newry Town Hall. And who knows, you could just be the one heading home with the Mastermind Glass Bowl!
They are currently holding Skype auditions, and with the deadline fast approaching – 27th July 2020 - it’s best to get applications in sooner, rather than later!
