Buttercrane is hosting a series of free events throughout July and August, as part their ‘Summer Fest’ campaign.
The schedule kicks off on Thursday 3rd July with a Summer Glow Up beauty event with one of the leading MUAs in the UK, Belfast-born Paddy McGurgan. Hosted in our new dedicated event zone in the North Mall beside Superdrug, Paddy will run live demos focusing on glowing summer skin and there will be refreshments, competitions and giveaways on the night. Demos take place at 6.30pm to 8pm.
Every Friday throughout July and August there will be a Summer Fest DJ Set with DJ Rony B and Quinn’s resident DJ Ruari King from 6.30-8.30pm. Customers can grab an iced latte, do some shopping and catch up with friends to the sound of chilled out summer vibes in the Buttercrane's colourful event space.
Every Saturday from 12 noon from 4th July there will be live music from a range of artists including John McGarrity - aka The Belfast Busker - Ceev, Cairde Ceoil, Amanda Agnew, plus Laser Quest, comedy juggler Frankie Magilligan, face painting and lots more.
The Centre will play host to ‘Newry Does Nashville’ line dancers on Saturday 5th July and kids can try out Laser Quest on Sunday 6th July.
Not forgetting their (almost famous) Buttermilk Drinking Challenge, which takes place on on Sat 23rd August, as part of Iur Cinn Fleadh weekend. The Challenge hosted by Declan McConaghy is to drink a pint of the white stuff in the fastest time to win £50 Buttercrane voucher.
All events will be hosted in the centre's Summer Fest Event Zone. Check our social pages for more information or visit www.buttercranecentre.co.uk
