Rostrevor Folk Club at Crawfords are delighted to welcome back Colum Sands later this month for what's promises to be a great night's entertainment.
Singer, songwriter, storyteller, author, human rights campaigner, environmental guardian - It's unlikely there is anything Colum Sands couldn't put his hand to!
One of Irish folk music’s greatest ambassadors, Colum has performed in over thirty countries around the world, either solo or as part of the internationally renowned Sands Family. A famed storyteller, Colum established his reputation as a songwriter with the release of his first solo album, Unapproved Road in 1981.
His songs have been covered by artists including Billy Connolly, Maddy Prior, June Tabor, Tommy Makem, Mick Hanley and Liam Clancy.
