Guest speaker at tonight's opening night, will be local artist, author and illustrator Jonathan Hackett. A previous SRC graduate, alongside his other creative pursuits with public art and community-based education, Jonathan is fresh from the success of his debut children’s book, 'In the Heart of Armagh' which he launched last year. Refreshments will be provided and guests will have the opportunity to meet the exhibitors and explore the culmination of the work they have undertaken during the last two years.

The exhibition will explore the passion, creativity, skills, styles and techniques used by the twenty-four up and coming local artists and designers whose work will be on display for the first time together.

Visitors to the gallery space will see a vast array of creative media outcomes from the students including photography, animation, illustration, oil painting, 3D sculpture, conceptual mixed media, publications, macro photography, interactive wall art, furniture design with soft furnishing pattern creation and screen printing,
