A Newry band who raised over £2000 in a local fundraiser for families in Gaza has now set its sights on touring venues throughout Ireland with the aim of raising the total to £10,000.
The four piece Cloakroom Q consists of Jared Green, Conall Coulter, Daniel Havern and Dan Monaghan. The boys recently ran a night in Nan Rices where they performed all of Paranoid by Black Sabbath. Through a charity based in Dundalk they have a direct contact with Gaza which helps when fundraising. The sold out event spurred them on to undertake a full Irish tour to raise even more funds.
Band member Daniel Havern said "we just wanted to do all we could to raise money for these families living in the worst conditions imaginable."
The band are hitting the road taking in some brilliant venues in Belfast, Drogheda, Dundalk, Limerick, Cork and Galway We have played the first four before but it is our first time as a band playing Cork and Galway. They will be joined by bands from every city they play in.
