Newry Drama Festival is set to return for its 69th year on Monday 27 March at Newry Town Hall. There will be six nights of drama with all performances starting at 7:30pm running to Saturday 1 April, with the awards being handed out on the final night.
The Main Sponsors of the festival are McAllister Group, Newry.
This years Adjudicator is Ailbhe Garvey Hughes F.L.C.M.(TD) L.T.C.L. A.D.A, M.S.T.D from Galway. Garvey Hughes has worked as a professional actor, director, adjudicator and teacher for over thirty years and has been a member of the Association of Drama Adjudicators since its inception.
Taking part this year are Rosemary Drama Group, Bart Players, Lislea Dramatic Players, Newpoint Players, Bunclody/ Kilmyshall and Dundalk Theatre Workshop.
Booking for Season Ticket Holders will take place in the Canal Court on Saturday 18 March from 9:30am to 12:30pm and on Wednesday 22 March from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
