There is no shortage of events in Newry for children this week, with Small Size - Big Festival being hosted by Newry based Sticky Fingers at many venues around the city.
If your children enjoy dressing up then Explore, Engage, Enjoy at the Old Mill in Edward Street was where it was at today with plenty of opportunity to try out costumes from the time of the Titanic. This continues tomorrow and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Organised by the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum you can experience living history and a way of life from 100 years ago, watch how soda bread was cooked on the griddle or learn how to make a seasonal love token or a willow star.
For future builders to be, Block City from Annantalo Arts Centre, Finland features workshops and exhibitions in the Buttercrane Shopping Centre till Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 1pm to 6pm.
The city is built of wooden blocks you can use to design and build more and more new buildings and districts.
You never know you could end up with a whole new city plan for Newry 2020!
The workshops are an opportunity to design and paint and ideas will spring naturally from your immediate environment.
