The closing date for entries to this year's Greater Newry Business Awards has been extended to Friday 24 July at midnight.
Newry Chamber of Commerce made the decision after receiving numerous requests for additional time, with entrants citing holiday pressures as the main factor.
The awards recognise, celebrate and reward the success of local businesses, organisations and individuals in the district. Since their inception in 2004, they have become the district's premier celebration of business excellence, supported by 23 Category
Sponsors along with this year's Principal Sponsors, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and NIE Networks. Newry.ie also sponsor the Best Place to Eat (Unlicensed) Category.
There are 23 categories in total, with entrants able to apply for up to a maximum of four. The awards are open to all organisations within Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and the wider Greater Newry area.
Newry Chamber are delighted with the response so far and if you haven't already entered you now have a few additional days to use to finalise your submissionsbefore the Friday 24 July midnight cut-off.
