Morgan Fuels & Lubes Ltd has been approved under the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme, becoming one of a small number of fuel suppliers in Ireland to hold the accreditation. The approval, under reference number MG/P83/26, recognises the company as a supplier of assured renewable fuel solutions.

The Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme is independently managed and operated by the Zemo Partnership, verifying renewable fuel supply chains, product provenance, compliance and greenhouse gas emissions reporting. It works alongside the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation and gives businesses confidence that renewable fuels are sourced through verified and traceable supply chains. The scheme also allows customers to receive fuel supply chain specific greenhouse gas emissions data, supporting accurate carbon reporting and informed decarbonisation strategies.

As an approved supplier under the scheme, the Killian based company can supply RFAS approved fuel, including Renewable Diesel (HVO) with 100% renewable fuel content, backed by the assurance, traceability and independent verification requirements the scheme sets out. Reaching this standard means the company has met the scheme's requirements for independent auditing, traceability and ongoing compliance monitoring.

There is growing interest in renewable fuels among businesses in transport, logistics, construction, manufacturing and agriculture, and Morgan Fuels & Lubes says it is supporting companies in Ireland as they move towards lower carbon operations. The company said joining a small group of RFAS approved suppliers in the region strengthens its position as a partner for organisations seeking reliable and independently assured renewable fuel solutions.

Michael Morgan, Sales Director at Morgan Fuels & Lubes Ltd, said: "Achieving RFAS approval and joining a small group of approved suppliers in Northern Ireland is something we're incredibly proud of. As demand for renewable fuels continues to grow, customers want more than just fuel supply; they want confidence, transparency and assurance.

"RFAS approval provides that assurance and further strengthens our position as a trusted partner for businesses looking to adopt lower-carbon fuel solutions without compromising operational performance.

"We see this as an important step not only for Morgan Fuels & Lubes, but also for the continued growth and adoption of renewable fuels across Northern Ireland and the wider UK."
