Newry Chamber of Commerce members visited the Newry headquarters of MJM Marine at the weekend as part of the latest instalment of the Newry Chamber ‘Business Tours’ networking series. MJM are one of Newry's most successful businesses and have been delivering world-class marine outfitting for over 40 years.
Chamber members enjoyed a networking breakfast in the Kitchen Café. Damien Morgan, Contracts Director; Elizabeth O'Connor, HR & Legal Director and Fiona Nevin, Head of Global Business Development at the company spoke on the firms' history, people and future plans.
The three speakers also provided insights into the longevity of the firm, sustainability, resilience through the pandemic and the culture and values engrained in everything they do. Following the presentations, our members were taken on a guided tour of the 100,000 sq. ft. factory that manufactures joinery for cruise ships throughout the world.
Elizabeth O’Connor, HR & Legal Director at MJM Marine commented “We were delighted to welcome members of Newry Chamber of Commerce to MJM Marine for a morning of networking, informative presentations, breakfast and an engaging factory tour of our 100,000 sq. ft. facility.
