Visit Newry and Mourne Museum on Friday 17 March 2023, for a range of activities that will suit young and old.
Children will get a chance to make leprechauns with their own pot of gold in our arts and crafts workshops, which are suitable for anyone aged between 5 - 11 years.
There are two sessions, 10.00am until 11.00am and again from 11.30am until 12.30pm. Numbers for these workshops are limited so pre-booking of places is advisable.
There will be guided tours of the temporary exhibitions “Caring for the Community: The Development of Medicine in Newry and Mourne”, “The Legacy: Newry 1920 - 1930” and “Seamus Mallon: The Man and the Politician” at 11.30 and again at 2.30pm.
There will also be an afternoon of traditional music from 2pm – 4pm.

Entrance to Newry and Mourne Museum is free of charge if you wish to visit the galleries, which trace the social and political history of this historic region.
There is free car parking. All the rooms are accessible, with the lift operating on every level of the Museum. There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor with baby changing facilities.
