The Parade
The Annual St Patrick’s Day Parade leaves from outside The Quays in Newry at 12 Noon making it’s way down Merchants Quay, through Sugar Island, Kildare Street and up Hill Street. As usual you’ll be promised plenty of colour, music and fun for all.
Newry Museum
10.00am - 11.30am. £1.50 per child - Join us at the Museum for a clay arts and crafts workshop for children. This will involve children making their own designs and pendants, so dress for mess. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Numbers are limited to 20 children and pre booking of places is advisable. Suitable for ages 4 -11.
1-3pm - Afternoon of Trad Music and complimentary bowl of stew.

9am - 5pm Entertainment by Leon Scott and Colin Harney, Jack Devlin
Family Fun
Sean Hollywood Arts Centre 10.00AM - 3.00PM, Free
Entertainment includes traditional music by ‘Sonas Harp Ensemble’ and Henry McDonald and Friends. Free Children’s arts & crafts workshops, entertainment.

Celebrate St Patrick with Irish Dancers / Tribal Drummers / Facepainting / Stalls and much more.

Newry Cathedral hosts The Voice of the Irish Concert featuring the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, Patricia Treacy, Lauren Murphy, Zena Donnelly, Eoin Hynes, Megan Ruby Walsh, Grahame Harris, Cormac MacAodhagán, Rooney O’Malley, Maguire School of Irish Dance, Michelle Johnston Highland Dancers and The Colmcille Pipe Band.
