Write a commentX Factor star Luke Friend will be on stage next month at the Ignition Quay Event at the Albert Basin.
The event will have Stunt Motorcyle Display team, The Trialstars from Comber, appearing while on stage there will be music from intercultural group Beyond Skins and X-Factor’s Luke Friend with UTV’s Pamela Ballantine as MC. There will be a Laser Tag Arena, face painter, bouncy castle and penalty shoot-out for all to enjoy. The Fire Service of Northern Ireland will be attending the event and demonstrating an emergency extraction from a road traffic accident car. The coastguard will be in attendance and the PSNI will have their Connect III R32 VW Golf on display as well.

The PEACE III Southern Partnership are facilitating the event at the Albert Basin on Saturday 14th June between 1pm and 5pm. This event is funded by the European Unions PEACE III programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. The day will have fun, music and entertainment throughout.
Gates open at 1pm and admission is free. Anyone attending the event should use the local car parks in Newry City and come early to avoid traffic delays as there will be no parking onsite apart from the competition display cars.
