Old Newry Society have been to the fore in showcasing the history and the people of our city in their popular monthly talks, and the 2025/2026 season is no different with a wonderful variety of events taking place.
From Lord George Hill to World War I to the history of printing locally, to several 'Trials' there really is something for everyone.
Looking forward to next May the group hope to host a barbecue at the landmark 18 Arches.

Published Historian, Hugh McShane along with Published Poet, Mel McMahon will share their thoughts on the horror and casualties in Newry & Mourne Museum 2pm.
