Death Notice
Rev. Fr. Anthony O’Reilly, (41 Chestnut Grove, Newry, Co. Down and formerly of Ballinallane, Ballyhar, Killarney, Co. Kerry), died 19th August 2026 peacefully surrounded by his loving family and devoted friends. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Anna, sisters Eileen and Anna Mary and his brother Bernard R.I.P.
His remains will repose at his late residence, 41 Chestnut Grove, Newry (BT34 1JT), on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Street, Newry (BT34 2DS) on Saturday at 9.30am, followed by burial in Aglish Cemetery, Ballyhar, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Margaret, brother-in-law Tom, his nephews, niece and neighbours. Rev. Fr. Anthony will be sadly missed by the priests and parishioners of the many parishes in which he served and a wide circle of friends. May he Rest In Peace.
