Write a commentPolice in Newry are appealing for information following an assault in a nightclub on Trevor Hill last Thursday.
Constable Caroline Bell said: "Around 1am on Thursday, 23 July, an 18 year old male was walking from the bar to the dance floor when he was assaulted by another male. The injured party sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or has information which may assist our enquiries. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 96 230715."
