Wallet stolen from car at Spelga Dam

Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage and theft earlier this month.

Constable Caoimhe McCaughey said: “Sometime between 4.15pm and 7.15pm on Thursday, 9 July, the driver’s window of a silver Honda CRV, parked at Spelga reservoir car park was smashed with a stone. A wallet containing a sum of cash was stolen.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Warrenpoint on 101, quoting ref: 1036 090715.”
